★ News from October 2006:
I've been pretty busy of late. A few things on the table:

Coming up this week are some big things.
First off, this Wednesday evening at 8pm, Devil's Dancebelt returns to Stand-Up NY for "RUMBLE ON 78TH STREET" to reclaim their title of "The Kings of 78th Street." We take on a sketch group called Lunchbox Voodoo, and it looks to be a pretty solid matchup. For more information, check out the "upcoming" section on the brand new Devil's Dancebelt website. You'll also find a 2-for-1 admission flyer.
Second, I'm flying to Ft. Worth on Thursday to present a speech at the Making Sense International Conference sponsored by the Institute of General Semantics. I'm leading off the conference on Friday with my speech titled "On Knitting Sweaters during Conferences." I'm really looking forward to the event, as I'm very interested in general semantics and I enjoy being around these intelligent, friendly, multi-disciplinary people.
Next week, I'm working with Yahoo! on yet another exciting event. Yahoo! is a gold sponsor of The Idea Conference and we have a booth. The topic this year looks reallly interesting--Redefining Creativity. We'll be doing what sounds to be, as always, something pretty lively and interesting!
So that's some of what I've got on my plate. I have plenty of other things, though, as well, including an improvised sermon I'm going to be doing as part of a festival with Six Figures Theatre Co., plus rehearsals for IronProv (a 24-hour long-form show in December), work for the New York Society for General Semantics, not to mention work on my book (which seems to be riding a wave of late--check out my blog on the Devil's Dancebelt website). This past weekend I got ahead in some of my work, which makes me feel good. But more is likely to come!
Cheers!

Tonight I performed with Devil's Dancebelt in the Stand-Up NY show, RUMBLE ON 78TH STREET. For the second time, Devil's Dancebelt proved victorious and retained their title of "The Kings of 78th Street."
We will likely return after another winner is crowned so that we may face that winner for an even more electric show. Stay tuned to the Devil's Dancebelt website--heck, get yourself on the mailing list!--and we'll let you know when it's coming up.
