★ News from June 2003:
I've finished the first week of touring with Bob Guiney, TV's next Bachelor, and Yahoo! Personals. We hit San Francisco and Chicago.
Here's a little page on Yahoo! Personals about Bob that I found out about recently:

I have a stage combat performance coming up this Saturday, 6/7/2003, at HB Studio in NYC. It's a free show at 8pm. I'm doing a scene from Oleanna.

I just found some photos of the San Francisco event on 6/3/2003 on Bob Guiney's website:
I am in the black, in the center. We are in Union Square. The guys in white are the Yahoo! Personals Chick Magnets. With them, people could make a human poem about what they believe in.
A perspective shot of Union Square--Bob's photo area on the left, the Chick Magnets on the right.
Some attractive dress buyers for Macy*s, taking a group photo with Bob.
More Chick Magnets. The guy on the left is holding up a sign that says "Meet Bob" with an arrow. I'm in black on the left.
Bob smiling for a photo. These two girls were a lot of fun--they were one of the Chick Magnets' first catches.

This evening I performed a scene from Oleanna with Milada Vlasakova from my contemporary unarmed combat class at HB Studio. Ian Marshall was the instructor.
Because of the Yahoo! Personals event, I am unable to attend the last two classes, but I'm happy I got the final performance in. I think it was received very well.
It was a great 19-week class. I learned a lot and have even been able to employ a few of the things I've learned in my acting.
Here is Ian's bio. What it doesn't note is that he also works with NYC's most prolific fight choreography, B.H. Barry:
Studied acting, directing, movement and stage combat at N. Y.U. Teaching: Yale University (graduate, Acting and Opera departments), NYU, Circle in the Square, and The Classical Studio. Movement, choreography and fight direction: HB Playwrights Foundation, Ensemble Studio Theater, Atlantic Theater, National Shakespeare Company, Bronx Opera Company, Pulse Ensemble Theater, 13th Street Rep, CBS' The Learning Channel, Sing Sing Maximum Security Prison, and in many independent films. Co-founder and artistic director of Doppelgang Productions, which produces theater utilizing the movements taught in his Physical Storytelling class.

I should be all over the evening entertainment news tonight!
Continuing this wildly popular Yahoo! Personals Event I'm working on with TV's next Bachelor, Bob Guiney, today we hit Times Square behind TKTS for fun, photographs, and human poetry with the Yahoo! Personals Chick Magnets!
There was a ton of media coverage for the event today--so much so that we had to turn some media away! Extra, E! News Live, ABC News (NYC) @ 5pm, and The WB-11 (NYC) all covered us.
I think the best chance to catch me is on E! News Live tonight. Bob put together a poem of the Chick Magnets and me for E! News Live Correspondent Giuliana--I'm holding a sign that says "Giuliana Is..." and get to say it, too! On the other programs, I'm more likely in the background doing my energetic thing as emcee for the Chick Magnets--I'm not sure of all they shot.
Let me know if you see me--I'll be in improv rehearsal during these shows, most likely!
(Here's a photo of the Yahoo! Personals Chick Magnets, with me, a gape-mouthed spaz.)
My mother confirmed I was on E! News Live tonight in the piece on Bob Guiney, TV's next Bachelor.
I had a sign that said "Giuliana Is..." and got to say it square into the camera, too!

Here is a collection of photos from the Yahoo! Personals events in Union Square/SF, Downtown Chicago, and Times Square/NYC.
Today I was in Boston for the event, sans Bob Guiney. I was nervous it wouldn't go over well without him, and also I was nervous because we didn't have as much foot traffic. But this is a knockout promotion, and today was a blast!
(More photos from the NYC event can be found here).

In case I can't write while traveling . . .
I'm in L.A. Tuesday and D.C. Thursday with the Chick Magnet event. However, I don't know my event locations as of this writing! I was going to write to my email list about my locations, but if I don't get an internet connection at the hotel Monday evening, an email probably won't happen.
However, if you're in either area, you can track me down via my service number, which you can find here. I'll hopefully be able to let you know where I am so you can come play with the hilarious and fun Chick Magnets, and say hello to me.

This afternoon I finished my tour for Yahoo! Personals. We covered in all six markets--San Francisco, Chicago, New York City, Boston, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. The event was a huge success, with tons of media coverage, and a spike in business for Yahoo! Personals. I am so happy!

Today I had a print shoot at Mother's Studio in the East Village for an ESL book by Pearson Education. In attendance were the photographer Michal Heron and Casting Director Catherine Demaria.
The scene had Anne-Marie Foley and me playing American tourists at a Mexican bus station, talking to a woman at a desk, asking if we could still make the "2 o'clock bus to Puebla."
