Over the weekend, I shot The Disenfranchised, an NYU grad film by Joshua Hume. The story was based loosely on the biblical story of Saul on the Road to Damascus, but instead of Christians, Saul persecutes the employees of fast-food giant Mr. Burger. I played the lead, Saul.
It was an exciting and professional shoot, filled with action and gore. One of the most notable experiences of the whole shoot is that I had 180 lbs. of frozen french fries dumped on me. Plus, I learned some martial arts moves that should look really cool in the final cut.
There will likely be a screening of The Disenfranchised this December at NYU. I have one additional scene yet to shoot, probably early tomorrow morning.

I followed that audition with an improv audition for the new Show World improv venue, Above Kleptomania. Producer Erik Marcisak and coach James Eason were in attendance.

Yesterday afternoon I met with manager Ingrid French of Ingrid French Management. She wants to see me again in December for a second meeting.
I just watched the Julianne Moore/Dennis Quaid film Far From Heaven yesterday to see if I made it into the cut, and I did, albeit briefly!
I'm in the background when Dennis Quaid enters the movie theater (near the beginning of the film). Two men go up a suspicious-looking staircase, and then the camera cuts to Dennis Quaid's reaction. You'll see my blurry head behind Dennis, possibly digging around in a popcorn bin (I'm the refreshments boy at the movie theater, wearing a white paper hat).
I'm even listed on the Internet Movie Database for the role!
